How to create a simple shutdown file

Sometimes life become hard and situations come when we really wish we need an assistant to do things of us. At that times we can't even move our system cursor for shutting down the system. By this tutorial I'm going to teach you to make a simple shutdown file by which you can just double click on it to shutdown your system. You can also schedule a shutdown and double click so that system will shutdown in that specified time.
I know what you guys are thinking now. why can't we use this time for shutting down, not wasting it watching this tutorial and making the file? After watching you will come to know how easy and useful is this method.
So to start making the file, you have to first create a new text file.

There are many commands for shutting down a system.

  • Shutdown -s : Shutdown after a period of 30 secs as default.
  • Shutdown -a : Aborting a shutdown schedule
  • Shutdown -p : Shutdown the system
Type the above scheduling command and aborting command in separate text files

Save both files with the file extension as ".bat" format.

Locate the two file in desktop.

Click on the shutdown file to see the results. System will display a notification that its going shutdown in less than a minute.

If u don't want to shutdown the system, open the other file - abort file- on desktop. This will abort the shutdown schedule you just made.
